MM+M is once again nominated for a pair of honors at the upcoming Jesse H. Neal Awards, also known as the ‘Pulitzers of B2B journalism.’

The publication is up for awards in two categories, the Neal Awards announced Tuesday morning.

The 2024 MM+M Agency 100 issue is nominated for Best Single Issue of a Tabloid/Newspaper/Magazine for a brand with revenue between $3 million and $7 million.

Detailing the top 100 medical marketing agencies in North America, the 2024 MM+M Agency 100 report remained the definitive guide to an ever-evolving industry.

The 2024 Agency 100 presentation featured profiles of each of the top 100 firms, the MM+M Agency Family Tree and the Agency 100 revenue/staff size table, as well as the annual overview feature.

For 2024, MM+M also asked agencies on the list to create their own company jerseys, in line with the overarching sports theme.

Additionally, MM+M Editor-at-Large Marc Iskowitz is nominated for Best Range of Work by a Single Author for a brand with revenue between $3 million and $7 million.

As a 16-year MM+M veteran, Iskowitz is eyeing a four-peat, having won the award three consecutive times

Iskowitz is an invaluable member of the MM+M editorial team, writing in-depth features for the print publication as well as his must-read 7-Day Supply column in addition to daily stories.

Iskowitz also hosts the weekly MM+M Podcast and serves as a moderator for many of the brand’s industry events.

Among the pieces submitted for consideration were his examinations of the impact of AI on the pharma and medical marketing industries as well as the dearth of award-caliber, regulated pharma work at the 2024 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Of note, MM+M isn’t the only Haymarket Media brand nominated for Neal Awards. The London-based media company garnered seven other nominations.

Notably, Rare Disease Advisor’s Larry Luxner is up against Iskowitz for Best Range of Work by a Single Author.

PRWeek is nominated for Best Podcast and Best Range of Work by a Media Brand for a brand with revenue between $3 million and $7 million.

Additionally, McKnight’s Home Care was nominated for Best Brand-Related Event for a brand with revenue of less than $3 million.

McKnight’s Senior Living earned a nomination for Best News Coverage as well as Best Range of Work by a Media Brand for a brand with revenue of less than $3 million.

McKnight’s Long-Term Care News’ Rural Peril was nominated for Best Series for a brand with revenue between $3 million and $7 million.

SIIA Media, which hosts the Neal Awards, noted there were 236 finalists across 68 categories representing “excellence journalism and design.”

“The Neals celebrates excellence and the value of business journalism,” said SIIA president Chris Mohr in a statement. “SIIA is proud to produce this respected awards program and congratulates all the finalists on delivering the outstanding content that drives successful B2B media organizations.”

The 71st Neal Awards will be held on May 16 at the Yale Club in New York.
